What i know about the Spartan

The things I know about the 300 Spartans that fought in a war against the Persian and king leonidas he was the leader of the Spartans and the Spartans are descended of Hercules and as a newborn baby they look at the baby to see if the baby is weak and or if the baby is worthy for being an Spartans and if the baby is the worthy the will throw the baby out and it took place in 480 BC during that time they was threaten by the Persian an army of a hundred of thousands and king leonidas had an goal since the great king xerxes wanted to threaten the Spartans so he wanted to make an god king bleed. and king leonidas had just took 300 Spartans to war with him and the battle took place called Thermopylae because it would narrow the numbers of the Persian army it was working until this creature had wanted to be an Spartans and king leonidas had told him told the creature that he would be worthy because he wasn’t able to protect other solider from the thigh to neck but king leonidas did tell the creature that he could bring the solider water and stuff.... but before an young Spartans reaches manhood he has to kill a slave... king xerxes fleet of Persian ships had sailed along the coastline from northern Greece into gulf of mail on the eastern Aegean sea towards the mountains at Thermopylae and after their offer of free passage to the Greeks defendant was refused they attacked on the 50th day and on the forty eight hours the defeating not just the poorly trained sent something that I would like to know did the Spartans ever defeated the Persian army and how many Spartan had the next time they battled the Spartans cause I remember that it was only one Spartans that survived the battle between the Persian and the Spartans
